Help: Recommended Browsers

Pages that do not require a login should be accessible by all browsers.

Pages that require a login may require a reasonably recent browser - it should at least have JavaScript and cookies functionality (See Medium Security Browser List). Functions such as Student Administration that require a high level of security may be even more proscriptive in the browsers required (See High Security Browser List). Not all browsers are listed - there are simply too many available for them all to be thoroughly tested.

Medium Security Browsers

Common browsers that should allow you access to most MyUni and intranet pages are:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0 (all builds)
• Mozilla - all versions
• Opera 5.0 and higher

High Security Browsers

Common browsers that should allow you to access the Student Administration pages are:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0 (all builds)
• Mozilla - all versions
• Opera 6.0 and higher
