Help: UniKey Password & Login
Sometimes referred to as extro, eStaff or MyUni, your UniKey details
can be used to access central University services.
These services include (but are not limited to):
- MyUni
- Central email
- Dial-up internet access
- Departmental and Personal web hosting
- Timetables
- Exam results and seating
- Pre-enrolment over the Web
- Online room bookings
- FMO e-service desk
- E-Staff
...and many others.
All non-casual, paid staff members have a UniKey account, and an
account letter is sent out to all new staff within a week of being
entered on the payroll.
All students have a UniKey account, and an account letter is included
in the papers given to you when you enrol.
If you don't know your UniKey account details, you can get them
by going to your nearest computer access center with photographic
identification and they will be printed on the spot for you by one
of the helpful staff.
Alternatively, you can call the ICT Helpdesk who can print and
post you your details via the internal mail. The Helpdesk take calls
on 16000 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. They can post
your details via internal mail. They cannot supply details via telephone,
fax, e-mail or to a third party.
A list of computer access centers can be found at http://www.usyd.edu.au/su/is/labs/location.html
Times at which the access centers are staffed can be found at: http://www.usyd.edu.au/su/is/labs/services.html#staffingtimes
Changing your UniKey Password
You can change your password by completing
this form.
Lost Password?
The ICT Helpdesk can provide you with a new password.
It should be noted that the Helpdesk have no access to any users
passwords. To give a password to someone they have to change it.
Once changed, they have two options available to them for dispatching
passwords:
- The first is to hand it over in person in the Helpdesk office
to the Account Holder.
- The second is to print it and post (NOT phone, e-mail or
fax) it to the address the Helpdesk has on their system for
the user. That address may not reflect the information that "Student
Records" holds for the user and definitely will not reflect the
"long vacation" address.
If you choose the second option, the following locations are available:
- ITS Help Desk
